Mr. Kellum graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2002. He was licensed as a General Contractor in the State of New Mexico where he operated a residential remodeling company for ten years before attending law school in 2012. During his time in law school he participated in the Community Lawyering Clinic, Criminal Law In Practice (CLIP), and the Innocence and Justice Project. He graduated from UNM School of Law in May of 2015, and was admitted to the New Mexico State Bar that fall.
After being admitted to the State Bar, Mr. Kellum worked for the New Mexico Office of the State Engineer’s Administrative Litigation Unit, representing the State of New Mexico in disputed water rights matters throughout the State. He currently practices in the areas of insurance defense and general litigation.
