Mr. Johnston graduated magna cum laude from Eastern New Mexico University, with degrees in both Political Science and History in 2013. In 2016, Mr. Johnston received his Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he earned placement on the Dean’s list. Mr. Johnston was admitted to the New Mexico State Bar and the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico in September, 2016.
During law school, Mr. Johnston served as a staff member of the Natural Resources Journal and competed in a national moot court competition. Mr. Johnston served locally as an executive board member of the Student Bar Association for the UNM School of Law, as well as nationally as the 15th Circuit Lieutenant Governor for Student Bar Associations in the American Bar Association Law Student Division. Mr. Johnston also clerked for a prominent civil litigation defense firm in Albuquerque, New Mexico, during law school.
Mr. Johnston practices in the areas of medical malpractice, insurance defense, personal injury, wrongful death, and general litigation.
